Honoring Artie Glad & 50 Years of Pumpernickels Restaurant!

Northport Historical Society is pleased to announce our 2024 Benefit. This year we are excited to honor Artie Glad, owner of Pumpernickels Restaurant, celebrating the restaurant’s 50th Anniversary. Pumpernickels is well known for its authentic German cuisine and welcoming atmosphere.

The evening will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, raffle baskets, auctions, and the presentation of The Society's Northport Icon Award to Pumpernickels. Artie Glad will share his personal experiences as the owner of such a prominent business. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the local business owner and restaurant that are so unique in our community.

We look forward to toasting Artie with you!
